Past, Present, & Future
Our kitchen started back in 1962 with the inception of the Islamic Center of America. It was founded by two lovely women, Haje Manife Dakroub and Haje Zahia Khalil. The Ladies of the ICA used to come together to bake ba’at, prepare Sunday breakfasts, and even cook the semi-annual fundraising dinner. This kitchen brought so many wonderful individuals from our community together.
