My husband (who is Muslim) and I (a Christian) visited the Mosque on our trip to Detroit. This is one of the most peaceful and absolutely gorgeous buildings I have ever visited. Everyone we saw greeted us with a friendly hello, even though I obviously did not “fit in” with my non traditional loose headscarf. The history room was also very informative and interesting as well.
